The festival which is now a full 4-days, begins with the Japanese mountain pass themed Touge Battle at the iconic Lime Rock Park and ends with a day of drift demonstrations at the Foxwoods Resort Casino Norwich Lot. With events held across several Foxwoods owned properties in late June 2022, the Ignition Speed Festival features a multi-genre car show & meet, endless entertainment, pro-level drifting, auto-x. sprint & endurance karting at the premier MONZA World Class Karting.

The DTC MISSION is to help raise awareness and provide funding for the research of rare kidney cancers like HLRCC in children and young adults. DTC was founded by Andrew Lee who was diagnosed with HLRCC at age 19.
Andrew was an incredible young man whose work continues to make a difference in the lives of those who have HLRCC. His commitment and dedication to research will help others who follow after him and his passing and provide increased levels of research and treatment options that were not available to Andrew. Andrew’s father Bruce, and the Driven To Cure team joined the 2021 Ignition Speed Festival and brought Andrew’s amazing GTR to the event.

Back in 2020, prior to the COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns, we had a call with the wonderful folks from Pancreatic Cancer Action Network with a plan to join the 2020 edition of the Ignition Speed Festival presented by ACI Dynamix. However, due to circumstances, we had to postpone the event and look forward to 2021. And HERE WE ARE! Moving forward with the 2021 festival and moving forward with our relationship with PANCAN. Pancreatic cancer is the third leading cause of cancer-related death in the United States and our goal is to create awareness and generate support for those families who have been impacted by pancreatic cancer. #FullCharitySend
